Our process covers it all:
Every reel is completely disassembled. Each part is cleaned using our proprietary 4 Reel Cleaner® concentrate, then carefully inspected for wear. All bearings are checked for noise and binding. Worn or broken drag washers are replaced. The reel is then reassembled using premium lubricants and given a final inspection before being returned to the owner. We service the full spectrum of saltwater and freshwater reels, power assist reels, electric reels, and downriggers. If you've got a Penn reel that's seen better days, a Shimano spinning setup in need of a tune-up, or an older conventional reel that still has plenty of life left in it, our technicians can handle it.
South Florida's saltwater environment is among the harshest on gear anywhere in the country. Old grease, sand, salt crystals, and grit quietly work their way into gears and bearings, and when that happens on a big fish, the result can be a lost trophy and a broken reel. Annual servicing isn't optional for serious anglers. It's what keeps your drag smooth, your retrieve clean, and your gear ready when the bite is on. Here's what sets us apart: We only use OEM (original manufacturer) parts. If a part has been discontinued or is unavailable, we'll let you know and offer an alternative where one exists. Our technicians are trained across the full range of reel brands and types on the market today, including those older but proven reels that still outfish newer models. Standard turnaround is 5 business days on the most popular reels (parts availability and shipping time not included). If parts need to be ordered, we notify you directly by email or text.
