At 4 Reel Services, we've been keeping South Florida reels in top condition since 2004, and our shop is right here in Boynton Beach at 3100 S Congress Ave., Suite 7.
We service the full spectrum of fishing reels: saltwater spinning reels, conventional offshore trolling reels, Penn reel repair, inshore spinning reel repair, power assist reels, electric reels, and downriggers. Freshwater reels are welcome too.
Every reel that comes through our shop gets the same thorough treatment. Our technicians completely tear down the reel, clean every component using our proprietary 4 Reel Cleaner® concentrate, and inspect each part for wear. Every bearing is checked for noise and binding. Worn or broken drag washers are replaced. The reel is then reassembled using premium-grade lubrication and inspected again before it's returned to you.
We only use factory parts from the original manufacturer. If a part has been discontinued or is unavailable, we'll let you know and offer an alternative, where possible, with no surprises.
There's no secret to a long-lasting reel: rinse it after every use and have it professionally serviced at least once a year, more if you fish hard. Old grease, salt, sand, and grit work their way into the gears over time and can seize a drag or strip a gear at exactly the wrong moment. One missed service can mean a lost trophy fish.
